Evolution Fest: ecco il comunicato degli Haggard

**Comunicato da parte degli Haggard**

Come sapete settimana scorsa avevamo annunciato che la band Haggard si sarebbe esibita all'Evolution 2007. Purtroppo a causa di una clausola contrattuale che era stata inserita da un altro promoter italiano (e di cui Asis - che tra l'altro fa pure da manager per il gruppo - non ne era a conoscenza) relativamente ad alcune date che la band farà in Italia ad Ottobre, il gruppo a malincuore (ovvero altrimenti gli facevano pagare delle penali) ha dovuto rinunciare al nostro festival.

Questo il comunicato appena arrivato da parte della band:

Dear Simone,
Dear italian fans,

today I´m writing to bring you bad news - unfortunately Haggard will not play at the evolution fest in 2007.

Background:

Our booker did contracts with another italian concert company for concerts in the beginning of october 2007, during our european tour for the upcoming cd.
This contracts include an exclusivity-clause, this means, that Haggard is not allowed to play any concerts in Italy for a specific time before and after these concerts.

This contracts for the tour have been made a few months before I got in contact with Simone regarding the Evolution Fest 2007, and also like in Germany it is some kind of standard to put in this clause.

So, all this is my fault, because I did do this beside the work of our booker (which is usually doing all contracts and bookings), and I did NOT inform me about existing contracts.

I´m very sorry for all of this, because Haggard LOVES to play concerts in Italy, for us only the fans count!!

Of course we would have loved to play at the Evolution Fest 2007!
I know that Simone did also cancel another band just to get a slot for Haggard.

Finally let me say that all concert promoters in Italy we worked with were always very professional and treated us with friendlyness and respect!

Alla luce di questo ci teniamo a sottolineare ancora una volta come siano fuori luogo certe uscite di alcune agenzie che si spacciano per i portavoce italiani per questa o quella band, o peggio ancora, di avere agito di comune accordo con la band, quando di fatto non fanno altro che danneggiarle impedendo loro di suonare per il proprio pubblico in un contesto difficilmente paragonabile a quello di un piccolo club.
