Critiche di Serj Tankian al governo Bush

Serj Tankian, cantante dei System of a Down (il cui nuovo album dovrebbe uscire entro fine anno), riferendosi alla situazione mondiale ed al conflitto in Iraq, commenta così l'operato del presidente americano George W. Bush:

"Bush and Cheney and their whole team have been a disaster for the U.S. and the rest of the world", dichiara Tankian, "The U.N. has been neutralized as a peaceful solution to conflict. The war in Iraq has become a brutal occupation; our soldiers die not knowing why they were sent there in the first place. We went from a surplus economy to a high deficit. Unemployment is up, the dollar is down, and the environment is weeping. We need someone with a high degree of both intelligence and compassion in the White House, someone deserving of the good will of the American people. Bush and Co. do not deserve us as their public."
