"Twilight of the Thunder God" uscirà in 17 settembre in Svezia, il 19 in Germania, Austria, Svizzera e Italia e dal 22 sarà disponibile in tutta Europa. Gli statunitensi invece dovranno attendere fino al 30 settembre.

"Twilight of the Thunder God" può vantare la partecipazione in veste di guest di musicisti quali L.G. Petrov, vocalist degli Entombed (on 'Guardians of Asgaard'), il chitarrista dai Children of Bodom Roope Latvala ('Twilight of the Thunder God') ed il violoncello dei finlandesi Apocalyptica ('Live For The Kill').

In Europa "Twilight of the Thunder God" uscirà tra l'altro in edizione limitata contenente 3 dischi, inculuso un bonus cd e un bonus dvd. Questa edizione limitata da collezione prende spunto dal layout del fumetto che è stato pubblicato per promuovere l'uscita del disco su diversi metal magazines europei. L'album uscirà inoltre in edizione limitata "doppio LP".
